Personal data:
Personal data means information that is assigned or can be assigned to your person. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your telephone number and your email address.


Collection and processing of personal data:
Upon visiting our website, the browser used on your end device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until automatic deletion:

  - IP address of the requesting computer,

  - Date and time of access,

  - Name and URL of the requested file,

  - Website from which the access takes place (referrer URL),

  - The used browser and, if necessary, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The mentioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  - Ensuring a smooth connection set-up of the website,

  - Ensuring comfortable use of our website,

  - Evaluation of system security and stability as well as

  - for further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest ensues from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

Use and transmission of personal data and earmarking:
The preservation of the personal rights of customers, business partners, applicants and employees is our explicit aim. Saier Verpackungstechnik uses your personal data for the purposes of technical administration of the website, for customer administration, for product surveys and for marketing only to the extent required and it may be passed on within the Saier Group if necessary. A transmission to third parties does not take place, except if necessary for the execution of a contract or that we are obliged to do so by law or you have given us your prior consent.


Legal basis of the processing:
Insofar as you have given us consent to the processing of your personal data, this constitutes the legal basis for the processing (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR forms the legal basis for processing of personal data for the purpose of initiating or fulfilling a contract with you.

Insofar as the processing of your personal data is necessary in order to fulfil our legal obligations (e.g. retention of data), we are authorised to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.

In addition, we process personal data for the purpose of exercising our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Maintaining the functionality of our IT systems, but also the marketing of our own and third-party products and services and the legally required documentation of business contacts are such legitimate interests.

In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.


Contact opportunity:
We offer you the opportunity to contact us via email and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his establishment of contact. A transfer of this data to third parties does not take place. When using the contact form, the name and a valid mail address are required so that we know from whom the request came from and in order to be able to respond to it. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data, which may be collected by other components of our site, also not takes place.

The data processing for the purpose of establishing contact takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after completion of the request made by you.


Cookies:
Saier Verpackungstechnik uses cookies in order to track the preferences of visitors and to be able to optimally design the website accordingly. Cookies are small files that are stored on your hard disk. This enables easier navigation and a high measure of user-friendliness of a website. Cookies also help us with the identification of particularly popular areas of our Internet service. This way, we can align our Internet sites in much more specific manner with your requirements and thus improve our services for you. Cookies can be used to determine whether a communication has already taken place from your computer to our sites. Only that cookie on your computer will be identified. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“, text files, which are stored on your computer and enables an analysis of the website you visit. The information generated through the cookie about your usage of the website of Saier Verpackungstechnik is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “gat._anonymizeIP()“, so that the IP addresses are processed further only in an abbreviated form in order to eliminate direct reference to persons. Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking:
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

We use the so-called conversion tracking in the framework of Google AdWords. When you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie will be stored for the conversion tracking. Cookies are text files that the Internet browser stores on the computer of the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website, Google and we can recognise that the user has clicked on this advertisement and has been redirected to this site.

Each Google AdWords customer receives another cookie. The cookies cannot be retraced via the website by AdWords customers. The information collected with the help of the conversion cookies serve to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers, who have decided to go for conversion tracking. The customers find out the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and have been redirected to a site provided with the conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information using which users can be identified personally. If you would not like to participate in the tracking, you can opt out of this use by easily deactivating the cookie of the Google conversion tracking in the user settings via your Internet browser. Our website uses plug-ins of the Google-operated site YouTube. Operator of the sites is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When you visit one of our sites equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is generated with the servers of YouTube. In this process, the YouTube server will be informed which of our sites you have visited.

When you are logged in to your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to match your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Vimeo
For the integration of videos, we use the provider Vimeo. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC with its headquarters in 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

We use plug-ins of the provider Vimeo on some of our Internet sites. When you visit web pages on our website that contain such a plug-in, a connection with the Vimeo servers will be established and the plug-in will thus be presented. In this process, Vimeo servers will be informed on which of our Internet sites you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Vimeo, Vimeo shall match this information with your personal user account. Upon use of this plug-in, such as by clicking the Start button of a video, this information will also be matched with your user account. You can prevent this allocation of information by logging out of Vimeo user account before using our Internet site and by deleting the corresponding cookies by Vimeo.

MyFonts typeface:
The design of our website also uses external typefaces for uniform presentation, which is provided by MyFonts Inc. (Monotype Imagine Holdings Inc.), 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801, USA (hereinafter: MyFonts). When accessing a page, your browser loads the required web fonts in your browser cache in order to correctly display texts and typefaces.

For this purpose, the browser being used by you must accept the connection to the servers of MyFonts. MyFonts hereby obtains the knowledge that our website was accessed by your IP address. Security:
Saier Verpackungstechnik uses technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your data managed by us against manipulations, loss, destruction and against the access of unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved corresponding to the technological development. Our employees are obliged to data secrecy. 

For security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, we use an SSL or TLS encryption on the website, in connection with the respectively highest encryption level supported by your browser. It is generally a 256 bit encryption. In case your browser does not support a 256 Bit encryption, we revert to 128 bit v3 technology. You can find out whether an individual page on our website is transmitted in an encrypted form from the closed representation of the keys or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.


Links to other websites:
Our website includes links to other websites. The links to external websites are tested by us prior to the linking. However, we do not have any influence on their contents and on whether their operators comply with the data protection regulations. We are therefore not responsible for these external contents. Upon discovery of a violation or legal infringement, we will remove such contents immediately.


Rights of the persons affected:
As a person affected by the data processing, you have the right of information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), data erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data through us, you have the right to revoke the permission at any time. The legality of the processing of your personal data until the time of a revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. A further processing of this data based on another legal basis also remains unaffected, for example, for the fulfilment of legal obligations (see section “Legal bases for the processing”).

Based on reasons arising from your particular situation, you have the right to file an objection, at any time, against the processing of personal data related to you, which takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or Art. 6 (1 (f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests). If you file the objection, we will process your personal data further only insofar as we can prove compelling reasons for doing this, which prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms, or as long as the processing serves the assertion, exercising and defence of legal claims.
